The snowboarding sport, much like skiing, has been an object of fashion. Unlike in basketball, where players wear shorts and jerseys, a snowboarding athlete wears much more. A typical snowboarding apparel includes goggles, helmets, polyester fabric clothing in turtleneck or vest designs, a pair of moisture-wicking socks, a pair of boots and of course the snowboard complete with bindings.
